Physiotherapy & Acupuncture
Physiotherapy is the treatment of soft tissue and joint problems using a combination of ‘hands-on’ manual therapy techniques, exercise, rehabilitation and re-education methods. Electrotherapy is sometimes used to reduce pain and promote tissue healing. Some physiotherapists use manipulation and can practice acupuncture for pain relief.
Physiotherapists at WLPC are highly experienced and have developed expert diagnostic skills. They are able to draw on experience and post-graduate training to identify what is wrong and work in ways which complement your body’s natural healing processes to overcome injury and pain.
All of our Physiotherapists are members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists and are registered with the Health Professions Council. As such they are bound by the professional rules of conduct and with rigorous standard set by the governing body.
